Dalmatian Rescue of Tampa Bay is an all volunteer network that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes as many Dalmatians from Florida shelters as possible that need our help. Our first and main priority is to take the Dalmatians who are facing euthanasia at high-kill facilities.
We assist area shelters in placing Dalmatians through ongoing advertisements in local newspapers.
We thoroughly screen prospective owners with home and veterinary reference checks.
We house over 20 Dalmatians at our care-for-life sanctuary who are unable to be placed due to age and/or medical conditions.
We provide ongoing support and education to all adopters.
We spay/neuter all Dalmatians placed and give all medical treatment needed at time of placement.

Creative Clay's mission is to make the arts accessible for every interested member of the Tampa Bay community regardless of age, gender, ability and/or race. Since 1995, Creative Clay has been providing local artists with developmental, physical and/or emotional disabilities an opportunity to pursue their passion for art making. Our arts programs consist of studio and community based activities for exploring unique personal realities in an inventive, professional environment. Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind serves over 600 individuals ages infant through elderly and their families each year. Our primary goal is to help the blind and newly blind individual to gain or regain their safety and ability to remain living in their own homes, and to regain financial independence through the many rehabilitation and workforce training programs designed especially for the blind and visually impaired adult, and to help the blind or visually impaired child or teen to succeed in school, at home, and in the community.
Our mission is to maximize independence and provide employment opportunities for persons who are blind or visually impaired.
Tampa Lighthouse for the Blind, incorporated as a non-profit 501 c 3 agency in 1940, consistently demonstrates its ability to continue to meet the emerging needs of the service population as evidenced by its growth in program components over the years.
The first private agency for the blind in Florida to become nationally accredited by the National Accreditation Council for Agencies Serving People with Blindness or Visual Impairment (NAC), Tampa Lighthouse is the only private, non-profit agency in Hillsborough County that provides on-site rehabilitation and vocational training specifically for blind and visually impaired persons.
