Don't fret. Help is close by. Donate those items to Life's Treasures, the LifePath Hospice thrift store. Your house will end up neater and you'll fee better knowing your donations will help support LifePath Hospice programs in Hillsborough County. The volunteers of Life's Treasures are accepting donations of gently worn clothing, household goods, furniture, jewelry, accessories, antiques, books and small appliances in good working order. Life's Treasures has two convenient locations at 1918 South Dale Mabry Highway in South Tampa and 4802 Gunn Highway in Carrollwood. Both stores are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, contact Terry Hudson at 813-259-1028.

Circle of Love Center children and teens grief support LifePath Hospice is proud to provide ongoing grief support for children and teens at its Circle of Love Center for Grieving Children. The center offers evening support group meetings for youth, ages 3 to 18, and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Children and teens who have lost loved ones grieve just as deeply as adults, but they have different ways of expressing their grief. The Circle of Love Center offers grief support groups specifically designed for children, teens and their family members. The support groups allow families to share their feelings and learn ways to cope with the pain and sense of loss. At the Circle of Love Center, bereavement professionals encourage children to grieve through play in the centerâ??s five expressive play rooms: the Art Room; the Hurricane Room, where emotions are put into motion; the Dress-up and Creative Play Room; the Game Room; and the Grief Cave, where children can memorialize their loved ones by writing their expressions of grief on a wall. All programs offered at the Circle of Love Center are free of charge and open to all children of Hillsborough County, whether or not their loved ones used LifePath Hospice services in the past. The Circle of Love Center is also seeking compassionate volunteers to facilitate bereavement support groups and aid in helping children cope with their grief. For more information about support groups offered by or volunteering opportunities with the Circle of Love Center for Grieving Children, contact Kelly Thorpe at 813-357-5605.
