%newline%WHO DO WE SERVE? Tampa Theatre is a destination landmark for diverse audiences from five primary counties and is frequently visited by tourists to the area. The Theatre's average annual attendance is 145,000.

%newline%Each year the Theatre presents over 650 diverse and affordable events including films, concerts, field trips, education programs, summer camps and community events. The Theatre is booked virtually every day of the year.

%newline%Over 38,000 students from 5 counties attended 40 educational performances featuring professional children's theatre touring companies. The Theatre ensures that all students, regardless of ability to pay, have the opportunity to attend our programs. Many of the students in attendance are experiencing the wonder of their first live theatrical performance while inside one of Tampa's most important historic preservation projects.

%newline%The Theatre fosters and encourages the talents of children in its award-winning Digital Filmmaking Summer Camp that teaches the cinematic creative process. The Theatre provides a waiver of tuition for a limited number of economically disadvantaged students from Title 1 schools. This highly-popular summer camp has operated at 100% capacity every year since its inception.

%newline%The Theatre's core program is the presentation of new, first-run specialty films along with two seasonal classic movie series. We present 550 film screenings attended by over 62,000 audience members. We introduced a new traveling outdoor film program sponsored by Bank of America, Sunset Cinema, screening FREE family-friendly films in community parks. The Theatre presents outdoor films in select Hillsborough and Pinellas County public parks with 10,000 guests in attendance at 6-8 films per year.

%newline%Tampa Theatre presents over 20 touring concert artists each year attended by 24,000 visitors. Over the past 3 years the Theatre has become more aggressive in booking concerts resulting in a 300% increase in concert performances. The Theatre also welcomes community and non-profit organizations' special events by making the facility available through discounted rental fees.(more)
