WEDU, west central Florida's primary PBS affiliate, is seeking talented and motivated interns for the Spring 2009 semester.

%newline%Interns will participate in the daily operations of the WEDU communications department, to include: writing and editing copy for publications and releases; assisting with graphic design and web projects; assisting with planning and setup of major fundraising events; building relationships with partners in the nonprofit community; and participating in various other presentations and projects.

%newline%Current college and university students are strongly encouraged to apply. This internship is unpaid, but offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to earn course credit. Motivated interns will have the chance to develop several portfolio pieces throughout the semester. Applicants should have already taken some communications or public relations courses.
